The Official Billiard Rules are compiled as 2 DVDs. One DVD covers 9-Ball 14.1/ Straight Pool and the other 8-Ball/10-Ball.

These high-quality Instructions are approved and endorsed by the World Pool-Billiard Association. Featuring the world’s leading pool referee Michaela Tabb. All rule relevant questions like What’s a “push out” in 9-ball? How do you keep score in Straight Pool? Where put the 8-Ball at the end of the game? are addressed in this unique DVD-set.

Thomas Overbeck, director of sports, answers these and other questions by means of the official sport rules of the WPA (World Pool-Billiard Association). He is supported by host Michaela Tabb, who is the top referee of billiards. The game scenes and demonstrations are performed by the German national coach Andreas Huber.





DVDs are in German and English, in stereo and have a runtime of approx. 145min. The DVDs are part of the Play Pool Like a Pro series of training workbooks, introductory books, and DVDs. DVDs produced by Cueball-Vision GmbH.

IPAT Start

This IPAT-Start Workbook is the first step in the International Playing Ability Test (IPAT) series, and is intended for beginners through advanced beginners in the sport of billiards. The Workbook contains exercises and approaches starting with the most basic and fundamental shots, testing the user on ten different aspects to the game… and you can record your personal progress with self-tests.

The IPAT System was developed by coaches Ralph G. Eckert, Jorgen Sandman, and Andreas Huber.

Ralph G. Eckert is from Mannheim, Germany, and has been a professional pool player since 1982. Currently, he is internationally known as a pool player, successful book author, trickshot champion, and European coach of the European Pocket Billiard Federation (EPBF).

Born in Sundsvall, Sweden, Jorgen Sandman has been a co-founder of the World Pool-Billiard Association, an award-winning player, a national coach (for Sweden, Switzerland, Austria, Norway, Ukraine, and Denmark), head of the EPBF, and an author (“Right on Cue.”)

Andreas Huber was born in Dachau, Germany, and has been a professional player since 1985. He has been coach of the German national pool team, instructor for the German Billiards Union, and European coach of the EPBF.

The DVD and trade paper bound workbook include 10 advanced drills, such as speed drill, frozen rail drill, and more, as well as exercises (such as for 9-Ball) and intermediate-to-advanced workouts. 160 mins., 71 pages.

Level 3
The LEVEL 3 DVD and Workbook are designed for expert players and anyone interested in the fine details of world-class technique. The DVD and trade paper bound workbook include 10 drills, exercises for advanced players, and high-level training games – all of which can help you compare your playing levels against others. With Bonus Audio CD, “The Psychology of Pool.” 145 mins., 77 pages.
